Easy Homemade Coffee Yogurt Recipe with Espresso

Made with freshly brewed espresso, maple syrup, and vanilla extract, this creamy coffee yogurt is flavorful and invigorating. This yogurt makes a perfect breakfast, afternoon pick-me up snack, or dessert for any coffee lover!

Equipment

  • 1 espresso maker
  • 1 medium or small bowl
  • 1 whisk

Ingredients

  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt or skyr
  • 2 to 3 tablespoons pure maple syrup (to taste)
  • 2 shots freshly brewed espresso
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 teaspoons cocoa powder (optional)

Instructions

  • Make a double shot of espresso.
  • If making a mocha version, add cocoa powder to the espresso and stir until there are no clumps.
  • Add yogurt, espresso, maple syrup, and vanilla extract to a medium or small bowl. Stir well with a whisk. Taste to make sure it's sweet enough, and add more maple syrup if needed.
  • Place yogurt in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes to chill before eating.
  • Once chilled, distribute into serving bowls and add any desired toppings.
