Healthy Beetroot Latte with Real Beets: Easy Recipe
This healthy beet latte is where earthy flavor, lively color, and your daily coffee come together in one beautiful cup. Made with real cooked beets, freshly brewed espresso, and naturally sweetened with maple syrup, it’s energizing and nourishing. Beetroot is rich in antioxidants, and can support heart health and energy, making beets a perfect addition to your morning brew!

Ingredients
Spiced Beet Milk
1cupraw beets, peeled and cut into 1 inch cubes
1 1/2cupsmilk
2tablespoonsmaple syrup
1/2teaspoonground cinnamon
1/4teaspoonfinely grated nutmeg
1/2teaspoonvanilla extract
filtered water for boiling beets
Beet Coffee Latte
3/4cupspiced beet milk
2shotsfreshly brewed espresso (1/4 cup)
Instructions
Spiced Beetroot Milk (Makes 2 Lattes)
Add chopped beets to a small saucepan filled half way with filtered water.
Bring to a boil, then reduce to medium heat. Cook for about 20 minutes, or until they are tender and a fork can be easily inserted.
Strain water from cooked beets.
Add cooked beets, milk, ground cinnamon, grated nutmeg, vanilla extract, and maple syrup to a high speed blender. Blend until smooth.
Strain beet milk mixture through a fine mesh sieve into a bowl to make it smooth and creamy.
Beetroot Coffee Latte (Makes One 8 oz Beet Latte)
Add beet milk to a small saucepan set to medium heat and warm beet milk until it begins to steam, stirring frequently. (Skip this step if making an iced latte).
Use a handheld milk frother to add froth to the hot milk.
Add 2 shots (1/4 cup) of freshly brewed espresso to mug.
Pour 3/4 cup hot, frothed beet milk over espresso, combing with the espresso as you pour.
Top with a sprinkle of spice (nutmeg and/or ground cinnamon) if desired
(For an iced beet latte, add chilled beet milk and espresso to a glass, then add ice).
