Ingredients
7ozorganic tomato paste
1/4cuporganic dates(about 3 medjool or 5 deglet noor)
1/3cupfiltered water
1/4cuporganic apple cider vinegar
1/8tspclove powder
1/8tspallspice powder
2tspsalt
1/2tspblack pepper
1/2tspgarlic powder
1/4tsponion powder
Instructions
Add dates and water to a high speed blender and blend until smooth.
Add tomato paste, spices, date puree, organic apple cider vinegar, salt, and black pepper to a small sauce pan and whisk until well combines.
Turn the stove on medium low and cook down ketchup mixture, stirring frequently, until it reaches your desired thickness.
Allow ketchup to cool to room temperature, then transfer to an airtight container and store in the refrigerator for at least 8 hours or overnight.
