2 small bowls or cups for mixing ingredients
1 whisk or handheld frother
1 16-20 oz serving glass
Ingredients
1/2 to 1 teaspoonhigh quality matcha powder(depending on desired strength)
2/3cupfiltered water(cold or ambient)
2tablespoonsmaple syrup
1/4cuplemon juice
1/2teaspoonlemon zest
1pinch salt
1/4cupice (or more)
Instructions
In a small bowl or cup, combine 1/2 to 1 teaspoon of matcha powder and 1/3 cup of the water with a whisk or hand held frother until there are no clumps.
In a separate small bowl or cup, combine maple syrup, lemon juice, zest, and salt with the rest of the water.
Pour the lemonade mixture into the bottom of your glass of choice.
Gently pour the cold matcha mixture into the glass to form a separate layer.
Alternatively, mix all ingredients together for a non-layered beverage.
